Budget Rent-A-Car was founded in nineteen fifty-eight in Los Angeles, California by Morris Mirkin. In nineteen sixty the company was moved to Chicago, Illinois. More recently in the year two thousand and two the company was sold to Cendant Corporation which also owns Avis. The merge with the second largest car rental business was a booming success with the general public. It is suggested that you make reservations with Budget rent a car for the easiest and cheapest rates in this highly competitive business.
Some of the cars offered by this company include the Ford Focus for compact vehicles. The Ford Escape is offered for intermediate vehicles. Standards include the Ford Explorer. Full-size vehicles rentable from Budget include the Ford Expedition XLT. If you are able to spend a bit more money you can rent their luxury line of cars which include the Lincoln Town Car. The larger vehicles such as minivans, trucks and SUVs include the Mercury Grand Marquis, Ford Freestar, Ford E350, Ford Mustang, Hummer H3, Cadillac CTS, Ford F150 and Ford Excursion.
