This chain was founded in nineteen fifty-eight and became a public company in nineteen eighty-seven. Now the company has over one thousand locations throughout the world, mostly franchised. Some locations are owned through the company directly. The company primarily rents Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles even though some of the franchise businesses feature more widely known brands such as Mazda, Nissan and Toyota.

The Dodge Stratus is a mid-sized rental. The Dodge Magnum is a full-sized rental. The Chrysler Pacifica is a premium rental. The Chrysler 300 Touring is a luxury rental. The Chrysler Sebring is a convertible rental. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a SUV rental. The Chrysler PT Cruiser is a specialty rental. The Dodge Caravan is a van rental. At Thrifty.com you can find rates and make reservations. You can check out their locations online as well as look at the selection of vehicles per car type as listed above. There are special rates for members and several hot deals and car specials.
The “We’ve got your size” deal is available for pick up June nineteenth, two thousand six to August thirtieth, two thousand six. Twenty-four hour booking is required to get this special rate. Rate is thirty dollars daily or one hundred fifty dollars weekly for a compact car. Rate is thirty-five dollars daily or one hundred seventy dollars weekly for a midsize car. Rate is forty-two dollars daily or two hundred ten dollars weekly for a minivan. Rate is forty-five dollars daily or two hundred twenty dollars weekly for a SUV.
Thrifty Car Rental has special deals available in twelve major airports throughout the United States. These airports are Atlanta International, Cleveland Hopkins International, Corpus Christi International, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston Hobby, Houston Intercontinental, Norfolk International, Raleigh Durham International, Richmond International, Washington DC Dulles International and Washington DC Reagan National Airports.
